LUNCH & LEARNS
Get Your Sales Team in Front of the Right Designers
I help product suppliers organize lunch-and-learns with architecture and design firms whose projects fit their products. Your team presents its expertise; I help identify relevant firms, make the connection, coordinate the event, and establish a path for follow-up.
The aim is to give designers useful knowledge and build relationships that continue when a project need arises.
A useful presentation starts with the right audience and continues with timely follow-up.
My Process
1. Select Relevant Firms
We identify the project types and design disciplines that fit your products, then build a focused list of firms worth meeting.
2. Coordinate the Presentation
I reach out to relevant firms, coordinate interested teams and available dates, and organize the details with your sales presenter. We review the presentation’s purpose and the product information designers may request.
3. Continue the Conversation
After the session, I help your team respond to questions, send requested materials, and keep track of contacts and potential project opportunities.
What I Coordinate
-
Target Firm Outreach
A focused approach to finding and contacting design firms whose work aligns with your products.
-
Presentation Scheduling
Coordination of dates, format, attendees, and logistics between the design firm and your sales staff.
-
Presentation Preparation
A review of your existing presentation materials and the questions designers are likely to ask, so your team can make the session useful to its audience.
-
Continuing Education Coordination
When you have an eligible existing course, I help coordinate the applicable materials, provider process, and attendance documentation. Original course development is scoped separately.
-
Follow-Up and Relationship Tracking
A clear record of firms met, questions asked, information requested, and sensible next steps for staying connected.
The Presentation Is the Introduction.
The lasting value comes from what designers know and do afterward. A good lunch-and-learn should help them:
• Recognize when your product is a fit for a project.
• Know the person on your team they can contact with questions.
• Feel comfortable requesting drawings, product data, or specifications.
• Reach out when they need help evaluating an application.
• Remember your company when another suitable project arises.
I help your team turn that first meeting into a relationship it can continue to develop.
Ready to Meet More of the Designers Who Specify?
Tell me what you sell, where you want to grow, and who currently specifies your products. We can discuss a monthly lunch-and-learn program that puts your sales team in front of relevant firms and creates a consistent approach to follow-up.
